As the world navigates unprecedented health, social, and environmental challenges, the importance of a strong foundation for lifelong well-being has never been clearer. Early interventions and equitable access to health resources are now recognized as essential pillars for building resilient individuals and communities. At the same time, addressing the broader social and environmental determinants of health is crucial for ensuring that progress is both sustainable and inclusive. The 2025 World Health Day theme, "Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures," emphasizes the critical importance of early health education, equitable access to health resources, and comprehensive strategies that address social determinants of health and environmental sustainability. This approach reflects a growing consensus in public health that lifelong well-being is shaped by interventions and conditions in early life, and that health equity and planetary health are inseparable from individual and community health outcomes (1–4).
